Question

Video editor/creator

Hello all,

I would like to get into creating/editing videos. I'm a total ****** when it comes to selecting programs/apps to do this. What I'd like to be able to do is capture video and photos off of the internet, add my own sound (music (internet or ripped), commentary, etc.) to make an up-loadable file to post on YouTube, Et al. I'm only interested in free downloads from cnet. Any guru help would be greatly appreciated.

Too limiting.

Sorry but that's far too limiting for me to answer. I will give a nod to Corel's latest "VideoStudio." It's going to be rough for the newbie but you'll get there over time.

-> Parting comment. Don't be surprised if your creations get taken down if all you do is as you wrote above. That could be upsetting to those that put days into a work then it gets a take down notice.

Hello! You can start with Movie Marker so you can nourish the form of your edition, that you start creating from the basics. Then you can experiment with Adobe which is an excellent editor, little by little you can scale up to a much more professional editor.
