Question

video editing software

Jul 2, 2011 3:39AM PDT

I have a mac powerbook with imovie installed. I have a few videos on DVD saved in files that imovie doesn't recognize, so I can't manipulate them. Is there a good software out there that will convert the videos into quick time or imovie so I can edit them into chunks of a few minutes long and so I can put on my website or up on you tube?
