Most video editors will tax your patience since video must be decoded, encoded to be edited and then put to DVD. There is no editor that will say run 4 times faster than what you noted.
However I do like Sony Vegas.
I am looking for video editing software that I can create sports DVDs. One of the sports I tape is hockey in which I edit down to goal, saves and checks right from my handycam. Then I down load them to my PC and want a software that can import them and add to DVD several very short clips (files). I also want to be able to mute the original audio and add music. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I have Roxio -- slow and there isn't an option that I can see to remove original audio (when I added music I can still hear the original audio) I also just tried AVS Video Edit -- initially I REALLY liked the software until I found out that I can only add 30 clips to the video Storyboard (no matter the length) even if the "Environment Settings are changed. This is a really problem since I have several short clips (files) that I want to import and add transitions to.
