Video Editing Software

Oct 24, 2005 4:23PM PDT

I need a free video editing software that enables resizing of video dimensions (for instance, 340*340 to 120*120)-- plus, convert from AVI to MPG format and vice versa.

Thanks

Virtual Dub does that.

Since it's free and documented I will not offer any instruction on how to use it.

I have it but...

...it's very slow. Plus, it has a very unfriendly interface. Well, I'll see what I can do with it.
Thanks anyways.

Slow?

I use it on some Athlon 64 and it's blazing fast at 60 or more frames per second. I've seen it hit many 100 FPS on some passages.

So much unwritten in your post so I can't tell if you are trying it on some slower machine.

it runs as fast as you mentioned. I thought it was slow Happy I'm in a hurry all the time.

Well, what about a prog. that cuts .WMVs, then convert them to .MPG format? I'd like to know one also that does the same to Quicktime format.

Thanks a lot
