Best of luck,
Bob
I have a Panasonic SC-HT1000 DVD Recorder that I use to record kid movies (on DVD-R or DVD+R) for my daughter to watch in the car. I would like to edit the comercials out of those movies using my home computer - a Dell that is optimized to do video editing of my home videos shot with my digital video camera. Whenever I copy the movie from the DVD to my computer, I get an error regarding the file type. It seems that the Panasonic is recording in a .VOB or .BUP file. Is there anyway that I can change this, so that I can use my computer to edit the videos? If not, is there a program out there that will recognize these files? I currently am using Adobe Premiere Elements and have the Windows Movie Maker on my computer from when I bought it. Thanks in advance for any insight.
