Video Editing Help!

Feb 21, 2005 8:04AM PST

I'm looking to edit video on my pc that I've recorded with a dvd recorder(dvd-rw). I've tried the Shrink program but I can't create any menu's or thumbnails. Is there a program that will recognize that kind of file? Windows movie maker doesn't and neither does the Ulead6 SE that came with my video card. The Shrink program is the only one that I have that recognizes files from different recorders(had friends with recorders burn tv shows so I could try editing and help me decide which recorder to buy). I liked that I could use the slide bar and zip through the scene's to the point I wanted to edit, but again, no menu's. Is there a program that will work as easy? I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Edits such DVDs. I think a demo download is available.
