I have a small Microsoft USB video device and a computer running XP. The video image is displayed on my monitor but it is rather small and I would like to increase the size however I can find no way of doing so - should I be able to do this?

Thankyou. the device came in a box labeled P C Camera, nothing more, and the "camera" is not marked. When I go to My Computer and right click on USB video device and then on properties the camera is said to be a USB video device manufactured by Microsoft.
this device from?
If a web site, please provide the full web address of this camera's web page.

thankyou. I bought it through Amazon and interestingly when I went back to check it in my orders I found that they had called it a PPM webcam - if you go to Amazon and search for PPM webcam it pops up straightaway
When I enter PPM Webcam in to Amazon I get this listing.
Amazon.com, or some other nation's Amazon?

Sorry - it is not obvious that we are not in the same country, try Amazon .co.uk
but since I am in a US based set of forums, administered by US companies and frequented largely by US visitors, I would always look at Amazon.com first unless told otherwise.
But in any case whenever help is asked, it is a courtesy to provide ones own links, rather than have the volunteers here go find them.
I found the Amazon.co.uk entry here; http://www.amazon.co.uk/PPM-Webcam-Built--microphone-lights/dp/B003VYTZHG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1342469363&sr=8-1
I also found the main supplier's web site but when I posted this post originally my posted got filtered out for some reason. I'm guessing that supplier's web site was caught be the filters.
Here it is an a different form;
http://www.p re pa y ma ni a.co.uk/mobilephone/webcam-5-mp-6-led-with-microphone.html
I see this web cam is a simple plug and play, so if you are having issues with yours, it is under warranty so I would return it.
Good luck.

Well, If you were to read my original question you would see that I have no issue with the webcam and that I was seeking information about manipulating the image on my monitor. Throughout our correspondence you have only been interested in where I got the webcam - and I have absolutely no idea how to provide a link. We have clearly been at cross purposes and perhaps we should forget the whole thing.
"seeking information about manipulating the image on my monitor."
If we could check out the webcam drivers maybe we could see if there is some way to make it bigger. But as you don't want to share that detail I'm going to go with a recent member's sharing of something kinda neat. It's a screen magnifier that does something new.
It's free too. Thanks to those members that share their knowledge!
