Resolved Question

Video card removal from Foxconn motherboard

Nov 12, 2011 9:09PM PST

Hi. I have a Foxconn MB (45CM-S socket 775 i945) and I want to remove my
video card but it's stuck somewhere around the right of the slot (see the image). I
tried to pull and push that yellow thing different ways but it won't
come out. Is there anyone who knows how to do it?

I don't try to pull the card straight up but...

pulling the card at the metal mounting tap and gently wiggle it out...tilting up and in. This should do it even when the plastic tap is still in the lock position or down. Give that a try.
