for a standard 33 MHz PCI slot.
The PCI Express is a totally different bus, but there is one video card available for a PCI Ex X1 slot. The normal PCI Express video slot is called 16X. It's about the same length as an AGP slot. The X1 slot is only about an incg or so long.
I have an older eMachine with onboard video. I believe the onboard video is shot. There is not a AGP slot on the M/B. I guess they are still brown in color. Anyway I was reading this forum to see it you could put a video card in a PCI slot. It seems that there is something called PCIe slot. So my question is can you put a video card in a pci slot? Also how can you tell if you have a PCIe slot?
