I have a Dell E521 with windows vista.AMD Athlon (TM)62x2 Dual Core Processor 4000+ 2.10GHz with intergrated GeForce 6150LE Video card.
What card(s) can I upgrade to and would it be plug and play or do I have to change anything ? I'm not to sure if I have to mess with bios setup and would it be complicated ?

I found a used 550 watt power supply. The physical size is the same. Will this be enough to get a decent card and is it compatible with the current mother board ?

Maybe. Maybe not.

As power supplies age their output diminishes. Can the seller show you the PSU under a 500Watt load to prove it's still ready for the job?
