Capture and burn to a dvd+rw/-rw then rip it to the computer with "dvdshrink" or OTHER, there are many. But try some here at Cnet software download.
I have 2 questions but it involved video editing software and hardware. What is the best to use, has a lot of options but easy to use in capturing VHS tapes and other types of tapes? I heave heard there are external devices to help do that. As for editing software, as I said in 2 sentences back but that could work with an old Windows XP desktop and/or a Windows Vista laptop.
What brand and type of media is the best to transfer old home movies onto to preserve them?
