Video camera HELP!!!

by salshope / May 11, 2012 2:28 AM PDT

I am interested in purchasing a new video camera for a documentary project. Must be close to 1,000. I am a newbee and need advice on the best choice.

Any information is helpful. I found a TM 900 and was told to look into HDR XR 200D ? Still a little overwhelmed. Need to order it today!

Get another audio recorder so you can fix audio in post production. I can only guess you haven't learned that lesson yet.

I won't be working on audio post production, just looking for the best video camera to purchase, but thanks.

"best"?

In reply to: Thanks,

That means you'll have to get a few camcorders, run some footage in the scenarios you intend to shoot in and compare audio and video quality.

Too bad to hear you didn't opt to get better audio. Most folk learn that after the first shoot.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
