Frankly?

Get an external microphone. I've found any "budget" camera to have poor sound and you can fix it...

It depends what you need.

The FX7 will give you hi-def video, but limit the audio to a mini jack type mic. That means the mic will be fairly close to the camera.

The PD170 will allow you to use XLR mics, but is limited to std. def. video.

The GL2 will give you mini jack type audio, and std. def. video.

The GL2 is the cheapest. It's selling for about $1,750 at B&H.

All of them are nice, capable cameras.
