Resolved Question

VHS TO DVD TRANSCRIPTION

Feb 21, 2012 1:37AM PST

Hi!

Just a quickie question. For Valentines Day I bought my wife one of those gadgets that transcribes VHS tapes to DVDs via her HP laptop.

We're both technologically challenged, so here's the question. While watching the movie on her HP while it's loading does her manipulating the volume have any effect on the DVD as it burns?

You'll have to test this to find out.

There are far too many systems out there so you'll have to test this to know.

BUT many years ago you could NEVER touch the PC when the CD or DVD was burning. This improved over the years but old habits die hard. I don't use my PC while it's making a CD/DVD. Why should I tempt fate?
