VHS to DVD-R doesn't play on computer or other DVD players

by macmama3 / April 7, 2006 5:56 AM PDT

I recently copied a VHS tape (probably 20 years old) onto a DVD-R. My DVD Recorder plays it back just fine AND I can make copies with my DVD burner on my computer(LG drive recently installed in my E-machines T4503 machine). However, I cannot view anything from the DVD-R when I try to play it on my computer (using Cyberlink -- the LG software-- or QuickTime), nor can it be viewed on an older model DVD/VCR combo machine. From reading earlier forum discussion, I may try copying to a DVD+R, but any other advice out there? Thanks!

Meet the drop-resistant Moto Z2 Force

The Moto Z2 Force is really thin, with a fast processor and great battery life. It can survive drops without shattering.
