Resolved Question

VGA - DVI - HDMI ports question.

Nov 29, 2011 7:32PM PST

Using Windows 7 64 bit. What is the difference in using a VGA - DVI - HDMI to connect my monitor to my computer? I'm not a gamer person, I just use my PC for photo and video editing.
Thank you

HDMI will give the best picture and also transfers the audio. DVI is almost as good, but transfers no audio. VGA is the worst.

I have this other machine and the VGA looks better to me than HDMI!

Why? I don't know! It's a lesson about what works is what I'll use.
