Help, I need VGA.DRV for my Win XP prof to use Adope photo deluxe

vga.drv is the basic video driver that is in Windows.
Normally you install your video driver that lets your card do more than 16 colors@640x480

What hardware do you have and what EXACT error messages are you getting?

The message I got : Missing 16-bit system module.Plse re-install the following module to your system 32 directory:VGA.DRV.
I do not know what Do you mean with :which hardeware you are using?

I meant what video card , mainboard etc.

Look at device manager, (Control Panel - system Icon)
Are there any devices with a ? or ! showing.
If so delete them and then reboot. If it is a vga problem it might fix it.

You also did not note the version of the software you are trying, are you sure it is XP compatible?

Last idea:

If you have a real XP cd or if your system will let you boot to a recovery console, try this at the recovery console.

chkdsk /r

It will check for missing Windows files such as vga.sys

The software which I am traying to install is not XP compatible (for Win 2000 ). The CD of the software (Adobe Photo Deluxe) is orginal one.
Any how thank very much for your help
