Some models are designed to run in both regions, and many are not. I have no way of knowing one way or another. The best I can offer is to call the Samsung customer service center in your region to inquire about your specific model.
There isn't a way to swap electronics to make it work in a different region that I'm aware of, nor is there a process to do so, that I'm aware of. 50Hz and 60hz televisions are designed differently for the NTSC/PAL regions, so it's likely that you wouldn't be able to. But I'd still recommend checking to see if this is different for the TVs sold in your region.
almost a year ago, I purchased $5,000 Samsung 55", LED series 6
100 Hz Motion Plus, LIM, Full HD 1080p, Mega Contrast,
Ultra slim, model no: 55B6000.
Recently, I have been asked so suddenly to move to Abu Dhabi. I must
take that along since I can not afford to spend any money
on TV. Would this system work oover there? I know that over there
is 220-240 V and 50 Hz instead of 110 V and 60 Hz. Most of
computers including my LapTop have intelligent or Dual power supply
and woks automatically. Another words, both issues of power supply
and Tunner System. I pray that does. If there are issues, can it
be fixed or modified by Samsung Technicians.
Thanks for help.
