verizon wireless on a desktop

Apr 24, 2006 1:50PM PDT

I am using winxp with a PIC card from "For Best Ports Connection" (company?) and the card is seen by winxp and the wireless PCMCIA is seen, but I can not get VZAccess to get past a certain point to load. It will not accept the PCMCIA card with the PCI card. The PCMCIA works perfectly on a laptop.
Any ideas?

Not much help here.

All I can note is that to share the EVDO card in question, you could use an EVDO ROUTER (google that.)

Thanks for your time. I was thinking of that but I would perfer to just use the desktop. Verizon gives me some crap about not supporting it but the tech I talked to said he has seen some PCI cards work.
I guess I will try another PCI card.
