Verizon Smartphone Battle

I'm looking into getting a smartphone (my first) using Verizon Wireless. With all the different smartphone to choose from, my head is spinning. I've narrowed it down to the Samsung i730, XV6700, or the Treo 650 OR 700w. Which should I get? I'll be using it for casual use, and I would like it to have a GOOD MP3 player. Is the Verizon service for smartphones good? Anything else I need to know? Thanks.
