Verizon SLVR (CDMA)

by crosseyed83 / August 22, 2006 11:21 AM PDT

All the buzz seems to point in the direction of Verizon getting the SLVR. Motorola has announced the CDMA version, Verizon already has the RAZR already.

Cingular signed a contract with Motorola that gives them exclusive privileges to motorola phones for a year. (That's why Verizon did not get the RAZR until a year after) When does that year expire?

I know the SLVR will release for Verizon, but does anyone have a firm idea when?

I got hit with a 5 buck monthly surcharge to keep my CDMA phone working. I lost the phone and went with a GSM phone.

You noted CDMA so I commented. If not relevant, sorry.

I see you have others that are responding.

So, I am responding to myself.. again.

I found another forum, someone supposedly called verizon and, well, here is the post and link:

"I called VZW today about my NE2 credit. I was told KRZR will be out Thursday at Verizonwireless.com and in stores 10/5. I also asked about the SLVR L7C. He told me that nothing offical has been announced but there are planned Get It Now releases scheduled in late October for the "L7C" on spreadsheets in the VZW database. He said with that shown it should be out in late October/early November. With this said, it's offically in the VZW database with scheduled Get It Now released in November. Take it for what it's worth..."
