Verizon Motorola E815

I recently bought this phone and the USB cable. I first bought the OEM and it was not fitting in it right although it was meant for an E815 and then I got a cheap one off of ebay. The cheap one off of ebay is kinda of working. It reads the USB port but cannot find the phone. Can anyone help me with this? And if anyone is certain that they know of a site that has the correct USB port can you send it to me.. I googled and everything but they all look like the orginal one I bought. Maybe I need to download a program?! I have no idea...any help will be useful! Thanks!
