Verizon DSL vs. Optimum Online Cable

Feb 15, 2007 9:23AM PST

Apparently, the new Verizon Fios is 15 mbps. What is the speed of DSL and Optimum Online? I can't seem to find it on their websites.

Hey, Fios is only available in a very few states now but is progressively expanding. Verizon DSL is 3 Mbps and Optimum Online is 5 Mbps, and the prices vary with deals and promotions.

there are 2 speed upgrades, but just FYI 15 mbps isn't 'basic' (the 15 mbps cost $10 more per month, when I last checked.
