Verizon DSL and Netscape 7.2

May 13, 2005 6:18AM PDT

I use Windows XP Home Edition, Netscape 7.2 and Verizon DSL. Verizon Requires Authentication for sending out going mail. I have 2 e mail accounts. I have to keep going into Mail Account Settings to change the info with regard to SMTP. I have to change my user name back and forth to match the user name of the e mail address that I'm using. I've tried setting up a second SMTP but I still get an error message telling me "Authentication is required to send mail." I have not been able to get an answer on Netscape's help page. Has anyone run into this problem and found a solution for it?

Thanks,

Gorm
