Tom, It Worked For Me...
Dec 28, 2004 7:31AM PST

..in both Firefox and Internet Explorer 6. I highlighted both lines of the text in question, RIGHT clicked on it, chose "Copy", then clicked once on the address bar to highlight it, then RIGHT clicked on the address bar, choose "Paste"..Then click on the "Go" button (press the "Enter" key) to go activate the script mentioned.

Still, I'm not sure why you would need that much. Simply click on the URL in the address bar, then use the "left/back arrow" to visit the beginning of the URL.

Hope this helps.

Well....Try This...
Dec 28, 2004 9:13AM PST

Here's the script in one string:

javascript:alert("Actual URL address: " + location.protocol + "//" + location.hostname + "/");

Start in the upper left corner next to "javascript", hold down your left mouse button, then "drag" the cursor down and to the right 'til the final "semicolon" is highlighted. Make sure all letters and characters are highlighted. Then RIGHT click on the "Highlighted" text, choose "Copy", then paste it into the address bar at the top of the window by RIGHT clicking in the address bar, choose "paste".

Hope this helps.
