TV techs seem to not post here. You can try other forums but my advice is to get the service manual (ask the maker!) and then swap the parts it tells you to.
Hi
I have a recurring issue with my TV. It's the TQL28RVD001 of VD Tech. A cheap model.
When I power on the TV, the LED indicator turns Blue, faint Red, and then Red again, as it would be if it was in standby. Sometimes after about 50 tries, it will turn on completely.
I took it apart, and I couldn't see anything wrong with the components, I only noticed a faint buzzing sound when it's in standby.
I did some research and they said it would be the inverter that's damaged or one of the capacitators that's blown or leaked. I couldn't find anything, nothing smells burned either.
I tried replacing the inverter with a spare part I found on ebay. That didn't do the trick either. I'm really clueless and I could really use some help diagnosing what this issue might be.
Thanks in advance!
