The Raptors have six LCD displays but no analog gauges. Four of the LCD's in the Raptor can be reprogrammed to any function - which would not be of much use if the digital system controllers go offline. It seems there would be a local sensor or basic magnetic navigation capability built in for the pilot to use in event of the system crash you mentioned in Mondays podcast.
So the old F15 would have been fine to navigate at least but the Raptor was out cold...amazing.
The world's most advanced fighter isn't much good if it can't find anything.
Silly daylight savings time.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
