Vaio PCG-K33 repair issues

Hello all,

So the DC power jack died on this Vaio so I replaced that and re-soldered it. The power is fine and measures the right volts with the correct polarities. After putting it back together and holding down the power button, the yellow status light blinks once with the green power button blinking once after that as well.

Does anyone know what is up? I have torn it apart and re-built it twice trying to find any problems, anyone have any idea?

Sadly it's time to find a new mainboard.

I don't suggest doing it since...

It's that Pentium 4 laptop that has caused too much pain to so many. You can find boards on ebay so unless you gaffed the rebuild (forget a connection, didn't check the cmos battery) then it's best to make a choice to the next step.
