Sony, if they don't support it means that if it doesn't work, go back to what worked. Install Vista again and if it hangs up there then you have a machine in need of repair. The hard drive going missing could be a sign.

OK so My hard drive every so often goes inaccessible, with the HDD light gone solid. Does any one know what is happening? remember, my computer is not freezing, just access to the hard drive. I have tried HD tune and finding W7 drivers but Sony doesn't support any of its old computers for Windows 7.
