Feb 22, 2005 3:01PM PST

The data cable on eBay doesn't come with software. Where can I get the software to transfer data between the PC and the phone?

that you could buy a $40 bluetooth/usb device at Bestbuy for your desktop and it was ready to go.

Blue Tooth

You can get BlueGene from Newegg.com for half the price, and its got more than double the range. I just got my phone this week, and my bluetooth usb adapter (blue-gene) two days ago, and it was a snap to get it up and running. I've added a host of ringtones already. Very simple, very easy. Now I'm on the hunt for some (honestly free) java games for the phone -this I'm having trouble with.

Yes, when keys are lit on my v551, the 7 & 9 are much dimmer. It probably has to do with where the light element actually sits behind the keyboard. Since you have the same characteristics, I assume it is "normal."

The V551 is Bluetooth

You can get a bluetooth to USB adapter at Best Buy for $41. USD. You can transfer back and forth and run about half dozen other devices from as much as 65 feet away.

I wouldn't go with a one time, one device cord if it was my money.
