UX32A-DB51: Wrong product included in list of vendors

Nov 28, 2012 1:50AM PST

There seems to be no way to contact CNET about mistakes on their website -- I had to guess that someone from CNET might read this forum. In any event...

The CNET listing for Asus laptop model UX32A-DB51 shows "Sears" as a vendor of this item, and says that Sears has the lowest price currently available. But the Sears website lists a completely different model than the above. The problem here is that this prevents me from setting a price alert on the UX32A since my price target is already higher than the (incorrectly low) lowest price available.

CNET should fix this particular issue, and also provide a clearer way to provide feedback to CNET staff about problems like this.

Thanks I will forward this to the appropriate team...

I will also foward your feedback on clearer way to report issues like these. For now you can always go our Help Center to report issues like these. The link can be found at the bottom of any CNET page under the "More" subheading.

Thanks again for your feedback and for reporting the issue.

"Report a Problem"
Nov 28, 2012 4:02AM PST

Thanks for your reply. A link called "Report a Problem" is what people look for. Or "Contact Us". Not having links like these on the same menu level as other links gives the impression that the web-owner really doesn't want to hear from users. I know you want users to use online "Help" rather than take up a customer rep's time, but sometimes we're trying to help you as well as ourselves. Good luck to you.

I will definitely suggest this to our team. I agree that labeling the link "Contact us" or "Report a problem" is much more clearer than Help Center. I will bring your suggestion to the team.

Thanks again and sorry for the troubles.

BTW we have removed in Sears link.

Cheers!
