Question

uverse connection to pandigital reader

Aug 2, 2011 2:33AM PDT
Help! i have been attempting to connect reader to uverse with no luck. When I contacted them I was told it would cost me $49 for them to permit the connection or I could pay an additional $15 per month for the access. Anyone have a solution? Other than cancelling my service?

And I can't guess why such a charge unless you just had the Uverse TV service and wanted to add the internet access.

Nope, I am paying $40 per month for high speed internet/download. Big bucks when you can't add any third paarty devices.
Any ideas?

Here there was no such limit. I can guess that if you had some tech support they would charge you for doing it for you. Here I just found the wifi access point and password and I was done.
