Utility to securely format hard drives

Sep 20, 2007 4:57AM PDT

I?m looking for a fairly inexpensive or free software utility that will allow me cleanly format (read security) about 20 hard drives in a short period of time.

Thanks

Most give the nod to DBAN.

The speed is limited to your PC and the interface to the hard disk...

DBAN wont' help me in this case.

I don?t want to format all of the drives on the computer, only a specific one I select, which will be the one connected to a USB hard drive cable adapter.

Thanks

The last time I used it... I could select which try to erase. Have they removed that feature?

Try 'WipeDrive' simple easy and works to the DoD Standard
