You know how I harp now and then about my service. Well, here I pick-up a book and its about America's War Horse, Sgt. Reckless. Guess what, she's a Marine and pit in 20yrs., and retired a SSgt. to boot. of course, she had a heck of a war life but was able to retire later. woooo... -----Willy Happy

My tradition...

Probably the same for other vets, is to pour some beer on the ground and then drink the last. Same for any gathering of fellow vets and/or friends now present or now gone. It just seems so right. Also, as for beer, well the old ticker doesn't allow too much but I do anyways just far less now.

Talking about beer, heck finding a beer that hasn't been adulterated in some fancy way and just having a plain beer makes one shop. Not that I'm too picky but noticed all those "flavored beers", geeesh where are the he-men to come from? How, will they learn to fall down properly? Wink adios -----Willy XX for me
