Question

Using Virgin Media Hub 3.0 as a repeater/extender

Feb 17, 2019 6:35AM PST

Hi there. Virgin Media sent me two hub 3.0 routers, and I was wondering if it was possible to use one as a wireless repeater in order to extend the range of the WiFi from the other. My original thought was to use a power-line adapter but unfortunately my mains upstairs are on a different circuit to the ones downstairs. Is it possible to have such a setup where one router boosts the signal of the other? And if it is does it have to be wired/wireless?

I didn't find a manual showing such use. Can you share a manual with that setup?

I am afraid not

I haven't seen a manual as such hence my question whether it is possible.

And why I asked.

That's why I asked where you found that these could do that. Sometimes folk want the gear to do other than what it does.
