Using VBA to modify colors of tracked changes in Word

May 9, 2007 12:57AM PDT

In Word, when you choose Tools | Options | Track Changes and set the color of the tracked changes in a document to be "by author", Word will choose a random color for each person who edited the document.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way using VBA, or otherwise, to access the author information for each author's changes and be able to display the changes in colors of one's own choosing instead of random ones.

Any help is much appreciated!!

I have Microsoft Word 2002 (10.6764.6735) SP3 and am running Windows XP Professional.
