I think it would be generally acceptable if you just use the closing bracket after each word, with the comments at the appropriate line, e.g.
Word 1)
Word 2) Comments
word 3)
Or you may have to use the free drawing tools to draw the brace.
Or you can insert the right brace bracket in a text box, suitably formated and with the font size of the brace increased, to say, 36 ? You may have to play around with the text box(Moving it to the corect location at the right of the words.) to be able to insert your comment at the appropriate locaton. Hint: make the text box as small as possible.

I'm using Word 2003 and I'm trying to put a right brace around 3 words and than add a supporting comment to the right of the brace about those three words. I can't seem to find any simple way to do this with out it seperating all the words and sticking the brace in the middle.
Can someone help?
