Using the Ipod and ITunes.....

Oct 10, 2007 2:14PM PDT

I just recently purchased a 2nd generation Ipod Nano and have been going nuts trying to figure out how to put the music on it with ITunes the way I want to. For example: I have several folders containing different types of music in them on my PC's hard drive. I want to be able to load those folders into the Ipod with the music still in the folders. So far all I have been able to do is import my mp3's onto the Itunes library and then from there drag them onto the Ipod. How do I put folders on the Ipod?

that's not really the way iPod/iTunes works

You need to create playlists within iTunes and then sync them to the iPod.

I guess by creating play list it is in a sense almost like creating folders in that you can put different types of music in different play lists.

If you want to add a folder to your library...go to file, then to add folder, then search for the folder that you want to add to the ipod...you have to highlight the folder, then click ok...if your not able to add music that way then add music one by one..hope this helps...
