Using Sony DCR-TRV22E with Linux SuSe 9

by spnoe / September 18, 2004 2:50 AM PDT

I am new to Linux and wish to use my Sony Handy cam with SuSe. I am able to pull off still photographs from the memory stick but can not find a programme or driver that will allowe me to see Video film.
Can any one enlighten me.
I'll be most grateful.
Thanks.
Steve

In short, you get to dig in and read...

http://www.google.com/search?&q=suse+trv22

That seems to narrow it down to your camera. My bet (I often lose) is that you have the USB hookup and may need Firewire to get it off the ground.

I do not have a TRV22, but have Suse 9.1 and a JVC unit on USB 2.0 and soon firewire. Since I wanted to not battle this but create some videos I just used Windows. Some have other goals, but I wish you well.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
