Using Razr V3 as modem with Tungsten T3 and Verizon

by lmburns / January 31, 2007 2:52 AM PST

I used to use a Sony-Ericsson T68i as a modem with my Palm Tungsten and then T3, both with ATT and T-Mobile service and with Earthlink as my ISP. However, I have been unable to do this since buying a Razr V3 from Cingular and switching from Earthlink to Verizon (love FIOS). Can anyone tell me if it's possible to use my phone as a modem with Verizon and, if so, how (I've tried using one of their local dial-up numbers, but that didn't work).

I have bought Palm's wifi card to use (which is fine), but that requires me to find/use a local hotspot. Before I only needed a decent phone signal.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
