Using Qwest msn DSL to use Peoplepc.

Sep 20, 2005 12:18PM PDT

I have an emachine T5026 Win. XP. I have been using peoplepc a dial up isp. A month ago. I got dsl. It is onlt offered by Qwest and is msn. But I was told I didn't have to use msn and don't. Now I have 2 separate phone lines. One for my phones and dsl and the other one I was using for my peoplepc dial up. Now both are connected to my computer But I still have to dial up for the peoplepc,. Everytime i try to undo that phone line I get disconnected from peoplepc.. For about 2 weeks suddenly my peoplepc was working great on dsl and I didn't have to dial up. This weekend my dsl , the power was lost to it and I called and they said unplug and plug back in. Everything was fine except now I still have to get the peoplepc from the other phone line. Why can't I get it from the dsl and disconnect the other phone line. There surely has to be a way to do this. Any help is really appreciated. Barb

Qwest, Peoplepc, and DSL

How did you resolve the problems that you were having with Qwest, Peoplepc and DSL?
I just found out we now have Qwest DSL and I would like to continue with Peoplepc. Can you tell me how it worked for you.
I am not an advanced user and am considering buying a new computer. Do you also know of a website where I can read what all the options are and WHAT THEIR PURPOSE IS, or why would I need them?
