Using myVCR?

Hi there. I am using an Intel iMac 27-inch and I am trying to connect a VCR with my computer using a Belkin VideoBus II capture device and myVCR video capture software from D++. The software will not recognize my VideoBus II connection. It will recognize my iSight camera, however. I was under the impression that this software would work with my device. Can I use this or do I need to get USBVision after all? Any advice is duly helpful. Thanks.

Could the problem be

the Belkin device?
Their website shows nothing related to a Mac for this device.

The D++ site is less than helpful, very pretty and fancy, but not helpful at all.

Their software is at least 2 major versions of OS X behind, latest is for 10.4.

If all you need to do is convert your VCR tapes to digital then the Pinnacle Moviebox will work with your Mac and import directly into iMovie.

What is it that you are trying to accomplish?

RE: Problem?

It isn't the Belkin device. It works. I was able to use USBVision before with it on Mac OS X, even up to Snow Leopard. I am thinking that I might just have to buckle down and get USBVision. But, yes, the Belkin device will work on a Mac.
