Why? Because first I need to go from an Ethernet port on the router to MOCA.
Read http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-set-up-a-coax-MoCA-network/
Now for the other end I need a WAP or router as a WAP. Google "Router as a WAP" if you don't do this much. Or https://www.actiontec.com/products/home-networking/wcb6200q/ which is not suitable for outdoors but could be just inside.
At over 200 bucks I'd try some powerline WiFi pair instead. Example:

I have internet service going to a Surfboard modem then to a Linksys router. I have a 2nd Netgear router set up as an access point connected to the Linksys router.
I have an un-used coax cable in the attic that I would like to attach to the 2nd Netgear router. That coax cable ends on the exterior of my house and I want to put an antenna of some sort to increase my wifi signal outside. Is this possible and what would anyone suggest for an antenna?
