Since Windows 7 is not released there is no one that will support anything today and certainly will not give you support today.
Wait till Windows 7 is released and then look for a web cam or driver.
I have recently clean installed Window 7 RC on my HP Pavilion dv6700t and discovered that my built-in webcam does not work. I went to HP website and it says that they will not offer support to customers who have changed their OS from the original OS that was in their computer. However, the website did say that Microsoft's Lifecam could be used, if the built-in webcam does not work and that is where I got confused. Am I supposed to go buy a Lifecam or can I use the Lifecam software with my built-in webcam? I have downloaded the Lifecam software but it doesn't seem to recognize the built-in webcam. For some reason Hp online chat support is not working right now or else I would have gone directly to them. Also I was not able to find a driver for the lifecam on Microsoft website. I've read that Vista's webcam drivers will work in Windows 7 but I've discovered that they don't. Please help me resolve this problem, thanks in advance for your help.
