A NAS and network drive are not one in the same. A NAS uses "shares" and you get access by having a user account on the NAS and that account linked to shares. That link can be as an individual user or a user within a group so you must either have administrator access to the setup utility or ask the administrator to do this for you. Since you mentioned access via IE, I will guess you are looking for the web interface on the NAS to do the setup. Is that correct? If so, you need to know the IP address of the NAS (or possibly the network name) to access it through a browser. Generally, if on on the local network, it will be something like "http:\\(NAS IP address)" (no quotes). This gets you the web interface login screen if you do it correctly. With the administrator account you can create or modify shares, add users and more. Are we going in the right direction here?
