Using Flash in Video Mode on Sanyo VPC-CG6

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this....i just bought this camcorder / camera and and only am disappointed by 1 thing...while i was reading the manual last night i seen that the flash only goes on at picture mode and will never go on during video...this is bad for sum1 lyk me who really needs some kinda of light helping me out during videos as well as pictures...i highly doubt it but i think it could be possible if you were able to get into the configuration of this camcorder while connected to you pc...if anyone could help me or at least point me in the direction of another site that mite be able 2 i would much appreciate it....thnx guys...

Flash units are not designed for continuous illumination.

The unit would overheat and burn out. You need an external light source. Some lights can be mounted on a camera. You need to check if such a light is available for yours.

thanks for your help man....your absoluetly right i was just reading in the manual that the flash gets extremely hot just from taking pictures so i would imagine it would burn out if kept on..
