Using computer as upconverting dvd player?

Hey everybody I have just got my new pc and I just had a quick question. I have an HDMI output from my pc to my 32 inch Vizio LCD HDTV. I have watched hd video from the computer on the tv and it looks great. I was just wondering if there is some software or certain video player that will upconvert the dvds i put in my computer just as a standard upconverting dvd player would. I am currently on Windows vista home premium. Any info would be helpful.

Goto PowerDVD.com's web site and read about it. If I recall, it upconverts.
