And it isn't out there. So for this round take another look at the Logitech Harmony Hub.
I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with a problem that I'm having, concerning the use of a Comcast remote with an RCA LED TV? I recently subscribed to Comcast cable TV and have so far been unable to program the Comcast supplied remote so that it will turn the RCA TV on and off, as well as allow me to adjust the TV's volume setting.
The model number of the RCA TV is as follows: L40FHD41YX9 and the particular remote supplied by Comcast is an "XR2"
unit. Both are being used with an non-HD "set-top box" - the box
only uses the 75 ohm coaxial connectors; no HDMI connector.
I have found that I need to use the RCA remote to turn the TV
on and off, as well as to be able to adjust the volume setting.
I have tried numerous remote programming codes that were supplied by Comcast and none of the codes will allow the use of the Comcast remote to turn the TV on & off and to adjust the volume setting on the TV set.
Thank you very much for any help!
