using china gsm phone wiht verizon in united states

I want to go buy a phone in china and use it in the united states with the carrier verizon. Is that possible?

Not compatible. Verizon uses CDMA and the phone you mentioned uses GSM. Locked or not, it won't work.

no u cant. verizon is cdma, a different techonology
