prince_buster,
Welcome to the forum.
You can turn off the Anynet+ functionality, which should keep your television from powering on. However, it will disable all of the Anynet+ functionality for other uses.
Let me know if I can assist further.

Colleagues,
Recently purchased a BD-P1500 Blu Ray player to use for playing DVDs and as a CD Player (it's plugged into our Samsung LCD and our amplifier).
My question is, is there any way of playing CDs without having to turn on the TV ??? If I hit play with an audio CD the Blu Ray turns on the TV - and if I turn off the TV it turns off the Blu Ray.
I just want to listen to CDs without having the massive great TV turned on too ...
Thanks in advance ..
